| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Ellie Korth has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 6 | | legislative director in the office of State Representative Ed |

| 7 | 7 | | Thompson during the 88th Legislature; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Korth's resourcefulness and initiative have |

| 9 | 9 | | earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | carrying forth Representative Thompson's legislative agenda have |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | among her responsibilities, she has conducted legislation |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | research, attended briefings, and played a vital role in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | supervising and training office interns; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Previously, Ms. Korth served as a legislative |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | intern for Representative Thompson in 2019, as a legislative aide |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | in the office of Representative Andrew Murr in 2021, and as an |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | administrative clerk and research assistant for the House Research |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Organization; she holds a bachelor's degree in business |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | administration management from the Mays Business School at Texas |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | A&M University, where she was a member of the school's Public Policy |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Internship Program; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby commend Ellie Korth for her service as |
