| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals of the Amarillo Independent School |

| 6 | 6 | | District was named the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the |

| 7 | 7 | | Region 16 Education Service Center; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The winners of these prestigious annual awards are |

| 9 | 9 | | first nominated for consideration by their fellow faculty members, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | and those who are later chosen as district Teacher of the Year |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | become eligible for the regional honor; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, At the time of the award, Ms. Ryals was a third-grade |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | language arts teacher at Humphrey's Highland Elementary School, and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | she currently serves as the campus's librarian; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals exemplifies the passion, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 20 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Tiffany Ryals on her selection as |

| 21 | 21 | | the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Region 16 Education |

| 22 | 22 | | Service Center and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
