R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kellie Stanford has been honored with the Employee
Excellence Award for April 2023 from the La Marque Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, Officer Stanford joined the La Marque PD as a
telecommunicator in January 2016, and she currently serves as a
community policing officer; in the course of her career, she has
distinguished herself as a skilled and dedicated law enforcement
professional, and she has served as an exemplary ambassador for the
City of La Marque; and
WHEREAS, Through her hard work and commitment to the La
Marque Police Department's important mission, Kellie Stanford has
earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and fellow
citizens alike, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her
exceptional record of achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kellie Stanford on receiving the
Employee Excellence Award for April 2023 from the La Marque Police
Department and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Officer Stanford as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
