8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Andre Treiber has served as chief of staff since |

9 | 9 | | December 2022, and he has contributed to the workings of state |

10 | 10 | | government firsthand; exhibiting exemplary leadership ability |

11 | 11 | | while handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, he has helped to |

12 | 12 | | ensure the efficient operation of the representative's office; and |

13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Debbra Willis has distinguished herself in the role |
---|
14 | 14 | | of legislative director since January 2023, and her contributions |
---|
15 | 15 | | to carrying forth Representative Bowers' diverse legislative |
---|
16 | 16 | | agenda have helped to address issues facing citizens across the |

17 | 17 | | Lone Star State; Ms. Willis is working toward a master's degree in |

18 | 18 | | public service and administration at the Bush School of Government |
---|
19 | 19 | | and Public Service at Texas A&M University; and |

20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Legislative aide Natoya Inglis and interns Aria |

21 | 21 | | Rideaux and Emma Lopez have gained valuable experience in the field |

22 | 22 | | of public service while learning more about the legislative |
---|
23 | 23 | | process; a student at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law and a |

24 | 24 | | member of the Texas Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Inglis has |

25 | 25 | | excelled in the task of analyzing bills; Ms. Rideaux, who attends |

26 | 26 | | The University of Texas at Austin, has made invaluable |

27 | 27 | | contributions to office operations, and Ms. Lopez, who is |
---|
28 | 28 | | passionate about environmental and immigration policy, has greatly |

29 | 29 | | benefited the office with her adept research abilities; and |

30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, These esteemed public servants have performed their |

31 | 31 | | duties with skill and dedication, and they are indeed deserving of |

33 | 33 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
