55 WHEREAS, Zara G. Borkowski has been named valedictorian of
66 the Class of 2023 at Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus
77 Christi, and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving
88 this significant honor; and
99 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
1010 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1111 highest academic standards; in securing her place as the
1212 top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Borkowski demonstrated a
1313 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her
1414 attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
1515 of a notable high school career; and
1616 WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
1717 recognized for her hard work, Ms. Borkowski has gained the
1818 opportunity to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to
1919 reflect on their shared history as well as their hopes and
2020 ambitions; and
2121 WHEREAS, During her years at Veterans Memorial High School,
2222 Zara G. Borkowski has earned the respect and admiration of both her
2323 teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and
2424 commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
2525 promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
2626 be it
2727 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2828 Legislature hereby congratulate Zara G. Borkowski on graduating as
2929 valedictorian of the Veterans Memorial High School Class of 2023
3030 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
3131 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
3232 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3333 prepared for Ms. Borkowski as an expression of high regard by the
3434 Texas House of Representatives.
