| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Tara Marshall of Chambers County has been |

| 6 | 6 | | selected as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees for 2023 by the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Baytown Sun; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Each year, the Baytown Sun recognizes the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | achievements of dynamic young leaders under the age of 40 who have |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | distinguished themselves in their professions and in their |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | contributions to the community; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Marshall currently serves as the principal of |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Anahuac High School; she holds a doctorate in organizational |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | management with a specialization in systems management, and her |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | accolades include being named the 2022-2023 Principal of the Year; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | in addition, she is on the board of trustees at Redemption Church in |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Beaumont; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Tara Marshall has set an outstanding example of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | leadership in her field and in her community, and she is sure to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | make further contributions to the Baytown area in the years ahead; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Tara Marshall on her selection |

| 24 | 24 | | as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees by the Baytown Sun and extend to |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; |
