R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dr. Emma Edwards of Chambers County has been
selected as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees for 2023 by the
Baytown Sun; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Baytown Sun recognizes the
achievements of dynamic young leaders under the age of 40 who have
distinguished themselves in their professions and in their
contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Dr. Edwards is employed as an associate
chiropractor for Mont Belvieu Family Wellness; she holds a degree
in exercise science and fitness management from Lamar University
and a doctoral degree from Texas Chiropractic College; and
WHEREAS, Emma Edwards has set an outstanding example of
leadership in her field and in her community, and she is sure to
make further contributions to the Baytown area in the years ahead;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Emma Edwards on her selection
as one of the "44 Under 40" honorees by the Baytown Sun and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Dr. Edwards as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
