| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Esmeralda Ledezma has ably served her fellow Texans |

| 6 | 6 | | as an aide in the office of State Representative Armando Walle |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ledezma has provided |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | including providing support to the office staff and serving as a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | scheduler; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A Hobby Fellow, Ms. Ledezma is currently a senior at |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the University of Houston and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | sociology with a minor in Mexican American Studies; following her |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | graduation, she plans to continue serving the legislature or to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | work with an advocacy organization; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her contributions; now, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby commend Esmeralda Ledezma for her service as a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative Armando |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Walle and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |

| 27 | 27 | | all her endeavors; and, be it further |
