 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Kristina N. Kastl served with distinction as
 president of the Dallas Bar Association during 2022; and
 WHEREAS, A leader in the city's legal community and a
 longtime champion of women in the profession, Krisi Kastl
 implemented a number of new initiatives during her tenure,
 including the Trailblazers Program, CLE Abroad to the Netherlands,
 and the Cannabis Law and Education Law Study Groups; the Dallas LGBT
 Bar Association became an official affinity bar with a voting
 director position for president and advisory director position for
 president-elect of the DBA; moreover, she expanded the Relaunch!
 Program; she also took the Dallas Bar Board and distinguished
 guests to El Paso for the DBA Board Retreat, and they visited The
 University of Texas at El Paso, L&J Cafe, Hotel Paso del Norte, and
 the State Line; the Law Day Luncheon included an interview with
 Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall, who presented all the award
 winners with tickets to a team game; and
 WHEREAS, Previously, Ms. Kastl served as president of the
 Dallas Women Lawyers Association and of Texas Women Lawyers; she is
 also a former chair of the American Association for Justice Women
 Trial Lawyers Caucus, and she has served on the boards of the Texas
 Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association;
 she has further given of her time and expertise to many other
 professional organizations, among them the Dallas Hispanic Bar
 Association and the Dallas Asian American Bar Association; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Kastl is the founder of Kastl Law, P.C., a
 plaintiff's personal injury firm; with more than two decades of
 experience, she has advocated for over 6,000 clients and tried
 upwards of 75 cases that have gone to jury verdict; she holds
 degrees from The University of Texas at El Paso, Texas Tech
 University School of Law, and Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College,
 and she is a certified mediator; and
 WHEREAS, Through her deep commitment to the legal profession,
 Krisi Kastl has earned the lasting respect and admiration of her
 peers, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her work in
 advancing the important mission of the Dallas Bar Association; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Kristina N. Kastl for her service as
 president of the Dallas Bar Association and extend to her sincere
 best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Kastl as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
