R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Texas Products in Royse City has received a 2023
Longhorn 100 award from Texas Exes, providing a fitting opportunity
to recognize the company's president, Frank Conselman, for his many
achievements; and
WHEREAS, The Longhorn 100 awards honor the top 100
fastest-growing businesses that are founded, owned, or led by
alumni of The University of Texas at Austin; this year, Texas
Products ranked number 71 on the list; and
WHEREAS, Since its inception more than two decades ago, Texas
Products has become a leader in providing Texas-themed gifts and
souvenirs, and the business benefits from the able guidance of
Mr. Conselman; he has further distinguished himself through his
involvement with the Rockwall Independent School District Board of
Trustees and PTA, and he is also a former president of the board of
the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary Club; among
his many honors, he has received the service Above Self Award from
the Rockwall Rotary Club and a 2017 Carnegie Hero Medal; and
WHEREAS, Texas Products stands as an inspiring example of the
success that can be realized by hardworking entrepreneurs in the
Lone Star State, and Frank Conselman may indeed take pride in his
accomplishments over the years; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Texas Products on receiving a 2023
Longhorn 100 award from the Texas Exes and extend to Frank Conselman
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Conselman as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
