| 6 | 6 | | Longhorn 100 award from Texas Exes, providing a fitting opportunity |

| 7 | 7 | | to recognize the company's president, Frank Conselman, for his many |

| 8 | 8 | | achievements; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Longhorn 100 awards honor the top 100 |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | fastest-growing businesses that are founded, owned, or led by |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | alumni of The University of Texas at Austin; this year, Texas |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Products ranked number 71 on the list; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception more than two decades ago, Texas |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Products has become a leader in providing Texas-themed gifts and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | souvenirs, and the business benefits from the able guidance of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Mr. Conselman; he has further distinguished himself through his |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | involvement with the Rockwall Independent School District Board of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Trustees and PTA, and he is also a former president of the board of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary Club; among |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | his many honors, he has received the service Above Self Award from |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the Rockwall Rotary Club and a 2017 Carnegie Hero Medal; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Texas Products stands as an inspiring example of the |

| 23 | 23 | | success that can be realized by hardworking entrepreneurs in the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Lone Star State, and Frank Conselman may indeed take pride in his |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | accomplishments over the years; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Texas Products on receiving a 2023 |

| 28 | 28 | | Longhorn 100 award from the Texas Exes and extend to Frank Conselman |
