| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A native of Carol City, Florida, Flo Rida released |

| 9 | 9 | | his breakout single, "Low," featuring T-Pain, in November 2007, and |

| 10 | 10 | | the track broke the record for digital download sales at the time; |

| 11 | 11 | | it quickly became a hit on U.S. Billboard charts, peaking at number |

| 12 | 12 | | one in January 2008 and holding that spot for 10 weeks; the artist's |

| 13 | 13 | | first studio album, Mail on Sunday, debuted at number four in April |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Flo Rida's sophomore album, R.O.O.T.S. (Route of |

| 33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Flo Rida has won the admiration of innumerable |

| 34 | 34 | | people all over the world, and he is indeed deserving of special |

| 35 | 35 | | recognition for his accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |

| 36 | 36 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 37 | 37 | | Legislature hereby honor Tramar Lacel Dillard for his successful |

| 38 | 38 | | career in the music industry and extend to him sincere best wishes |
