| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Mary Campbell-Fox, cofounder of Campbell Family |

| 7 | 7 | | is serving as Physician of the Day at the State Capitol on |

| 8 | 8 | | February 28, 2023; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of Houston, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Dr. Campbell-Fox completed her medical studies at the Texas College |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and her internship training |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; she previously worked |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, where she was named |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Physician of the Year in 1989 and served in the role of chief of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | staff in 2003; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A board-certified osteopathic family physician, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Dr. Campbell-Fox has cared for patients in the Houston, Pearland, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and Clear Lake communities since 1989; she also currently serves as |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | medical director for Memorial Hermann WAVE and Kruse Health |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Centers, and she holds membership in a number of local, state, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | national medical organizations; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Campbell-Fox is the proud mother of five |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | children, and in her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, horseback |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | riding, scrapbooking, and studying genealogy; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of her career, Dr. Mary Campbell-Fox |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | has provided skilled and compassionate care to countless Texans, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | and it is indeed a pleasure to welcome this esteemed medical |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | professional to the State Capitol; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature hereby honor Dr. Mary Campbell-Fox for her |

| 31 | 31 | | participation in the Physician of the Day program and extend to her |
