6 | 6 | | Rosales suffered an immeasurable loss with her passing on May 9, |

8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Roland Barrera and Kimberly Adams, |

9 | 9 | | Amber Rosales was born on August 3, 1989, and she grew up in Corpus |

10 | 10 | | Christi with the companionship of her siblings, Richard, Zachary, |
---|
11 | 11 | | Pearl, and Paige; while in high school, she pursued her love of |

12 | 12 | | photography as a member of the yearbook staff, and she went on to |
---|
13 | 13 | | graduate from Full Sail University with a bachelor's degree in |
---|
14 | 14 | | film; and |
---|
15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rosales enjoyed a rewarding career in the film |
---|
16 | 16 | | industry, and she spent several years working behind the camera |
---|
17 | 17 | | before moving to payroll; she was involved with everything from big |
---|
18 | 18 | | budget movies to commercials, and some of her career highlights |
---|
19 | 19 | | included her work on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Paul |
---|
20 | 20 | | McCartney's live performance at Grand Central Station; active in |
---|
21 | 21 | | her professional community, she was a dedicated member of ICG: |

22 | 22 | | International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600); and |
---|
23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rosales was a devoted mother to her two |
---|
24 | 24 | | children, Ella Rae and Atlas James, and she delighted in taking them |
---|
25 | 25 | | to parks and museums and exposing them to new experiences and |
---|
26 | 26 | | cultures; she also enjoyed reading, traveling, playing board games, |
---|
27 | 27 | | solving puzzles, spending time with her loved ones, and cooking, |
---|
28 | 28 | | particularly traditional Mexican dishes; and |
---|
29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Although she is profoundly missed, Amber Rosales |
---|
30 | 30 | | touched the lives of everyone around her in ways beyond measure, and |
---|
31 | 31 | | she will forever hold a treasured place in their hearts; now, |

33 | 33 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

34 | 34 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Amber Nicole |
