| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Rachel |

| 6 | 6 | | Cabrera Flores of Robstown, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at |

| 7 | 7 | | the age of 68; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Rosalio and Teresa Cisneros Cabrera, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Rachel Flores was born on April 7, 1954, in Robstown, and she grew |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | up with the companionship of three brothers, Raul, Rogelio, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Romeo, and two sisters, Rebecca and Rosaura; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Flores worked for the Robstown Independent |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | School District for 15 years; over the course of her career, she was |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | also employed by Pediatrix Dental; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Devoted to her family, Mrs. Flores shared a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | rewarding marriage with her husband, Armando Flores Jr., and she |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | took great pride in her four sons, Armando, Alfred, Andrew, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Adam, and in her nine grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Rachel Flores |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | will remember the way she touched their lives with her warmth and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | ever-present smile, and she will forever hold a treasured place in |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Rachel Cabrera |

| 25 | 25 | | Flores and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of her family: |
