H.R. No. 2347
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Alma
Delia Perez of Corpus Christi, who passed away on December 3, 2022,
at the age of 76; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Antonio and Ramona Ramirez Gonzalez,
the former Delia Gonzalez was born in Robstown on December 21, 1945;
she grew up with a sister, Adriana, and two brothers, Ruben and
Armando; and
WHEREAS, She married Arnoldo Perez, and they were blessed
with two daughters, Darlene and Sonia, and two sons, Arnold Anthony
and Arnoldo; a loving wife and mother, Mrs. Perez devoted herself
to her home and family, which eventually grew to include five
grandchildren, Mariah, Gabriela, Hannah, Arnold Anthony, and
Faith, as well as three great-grandchildren, Jayven, Alani, and
Rio; and
WHEREAS, Although Alma Perez will be deeply missed, she has
left her family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will
forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alma Delia Perez and
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
daughter, Sonia De La Garza, and her husband, Elias; to her son,
Arnoldo Perez, and his wife, Martha; to her grandchildren, Mariah
Longoria, Gabriela Hernandez and her husband, Joshua, Hannah Pfrang
and her husband, Jared, Arnold Anthony Perez, and Faith Chavez; to
her great-grandchildren, Jayven Jaramillo, Alani Longoria, and Rio
Hernandez; to her brother, Armando Gonzalez, and his wife, Olivia;
and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alma Delia
Perez.
