| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help to comfort |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | those saddened by the death of Aida Ramirez Garcia of Robstown on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | December 5, 2022, at the age of 73; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The former Aida Ramirez was born to Mauricio and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Beatrice Villarreal Ramirez in Robstown on October 6, 1949, and she |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | grew up with the companionship of seven siblings, Delma, Diana, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Gilbert, Mauricio, Alfredo, Armando, and Yolanda; for many years, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | she served as a crossing guard for the Robstown Independent School |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | District; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, she enjoyed the love and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | support of her husband, Casildo Garcia Jr., with whom she shared a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | rewarding marriage that spanned 56 years; Mrs. Garcia took great |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | pride in her four children, Jo Ann, Andrew, Patrick, and Robert, who |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | preceded his mother in death, and with the passing years, she had |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the pleasure of welcoming into her family 11 grandchildren and 9 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | great-grandchildren; a woman of deep faith, she was a strong |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | believer in the power of prayer; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Although Aida Garcia is greatly missed, those who |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | held her dear will forever remember the warmth and kindness she |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | brought into their lives; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Aida Ramirez Garcia |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn her passing; and, be |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | it further |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |

| 31 | 31 | | Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Aida |
