| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of John Andrew Calderon of |

| 6 | 6 | | Robstown were deeply saddened by his passing on January 21, 2023, at |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the age of 32; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The son of Johnny Calderon Jr. and Maria Alma |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Rodriguez Calderon, John Calderon was born in Houston on May 25, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1990; affectionately known as "Trapper John," he was an avid |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | barbecuing; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Above all else, Mr. Calderon delighted in the time |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | he spent with his family; he was the proud father of three children, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Miabella, Ava, and Levi, and his life was further enriched by the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | companionship he shared with Lisa Ann Gonzales; his circle of loved |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | ones also included his grandmother, Angelita Rodriguez, as well as |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | his friends Cezar Gonzalez and Ramiro Alejandro, who were like |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | brothers to him; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Although the loss of John Calderon is difficult to |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | bear, memories of his kindness, his generosity, and his devotion to |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves behind; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of John Andrew Calderon |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | children, Miabella Rose Calderon, Ava Jo Calderon, and Levi Andrew |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Calderon; to his significant other, Lisa Ann Gonzales; to his |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | father, Johnny Calderon Jr.; to his grandmother, Angelita |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Rodriguez; to his friends Cezar Gonzalez and Ramiro Alejandro; and |
