| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their |

| 6 | 6 | | memories of Omar Onofre Solis II of Nueces County, who passed away |

| 7 | 7 | | on January 26, 2023, at the age of 39; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Corpus Christi on December 13, 1983, Omar |

| 9 | 9 | | Solis was the son of Omar and Martha Solis, and he grew up with the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | companionship of two brothers, Johnny and Oscar; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Solis later embraced his role as a father to two |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | beloved daughters, Scarlett and Sophia; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Though his journey on this earth ended far too soon, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Omar Solis leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | lives are far richer for having known him, and he will always hold a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 17 | 17 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 18 | 18 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Omar Onofre |

| 19 | 19 | | Solis II and extend sincere condolences to the members of his |

| 20 | 20 | | family: to his daughters, Scarlett Rose Solis and Sophia Elena |
