44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Jackson Hughes has distinguished himself in his
66 responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State
77 Representative Joe Moody during the 88th Legislative Session; and
88 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Hughes has provided
99 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
1010 in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
1111 service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
1212 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1313 WHEREAS, Mr. Hughes is currently studying economics at Texas
1414 Tech University, where he has earned placement on the dean's list;
1515 active in his campus community, he is a member of the Tech Economics
1616 Association and serves as treasurer and community service
1717 coordinator for the Future Lawyers of Today organization; moreover,
1818 he previously completed an internship with the Fort Bend County
1919 District Attorney's Office; and
2020 WHEREAS, Jackson Hughes has performed his duties as a
2121 legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
2222 deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
2323 be it
2424 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2525 Legislature hereby commend Jackson Hughes for his service as a
2626 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody
2727 and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all
2828 his endeavors; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for Mr. Hughes as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3131 House of Representatives.
