| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Theresa Morton has been named the 2023 Support Staff |

| 6 | 6 | | of the Year at Tuloso-Midway High School in the Tuloso-Midway |

| 7 | 7 | | Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Support staff play an integral role in the daily |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | lives of students, faculty, and administrators; they perform such |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | essential tasks as providing instructional assistance, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | transporting students, keeping campuses and facilities safe and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | clean, operating offices and maintaining records, serving |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | nutritious meals, and offering medical care; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Ms. Morton has worked for Tuloso-Midway ISD for four years; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated support personnel like Theresa Morton |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | help to create a school environment that is conducive to learning, |

| 18 | 18 | | and she is indeed deserving of recognition for her outstanding |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | service in behalf of area youth; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Theresa Morton on her selection as |

| 22 | 22 | | the 2023 Support Staff of the Year at Tuloso-Midway High School and |

| 23 | 23 | | extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her |
