| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jenna Serna has been named the 2023 Support Staff of |

| 6 | 6 | | the Year at the Tuloso-Midway Academic Career Center in the |

| 7 | 7 | | Tuloso-Midway Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Support staff play an integral role in the daily |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | lives of students, faculty, and administrators; they perform such |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | essential tasks as providing instructional assistance, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | transporting students, keeping campuses and facilities safe and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | clean, operating offices and maintaining records, serving |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | nutritious meals, and offering medical care; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Ms. Serna |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | has worked for Tuloso-Midway ISD for three years; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated support personnel like Jenna Serna help to |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | create a school environment that is conducive to learning, and she |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | is indeed deserving of recognition for her outstanding service in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | behalf of area youth; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jenna Serna on her selection as the |
