| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Kimberly Waddle has been named the 2023 Teacher of |

| 6 | 6 | | the Year at Tuloso-Midway High School in the Tuloso-Midway |

| 7 | 7 | | Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 9 | 9 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 11 | 11 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, |

| 13 | 13 | | Ms. Waddle has worked for Tuloso-Midway ISD for 17 years; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Kimberly Waddle exemplifies the passion, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |

| 16 | 16 | | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |

| 17 | 17 | | in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Kimberly Waddle on her selection as |

| 20 | 20 | | the 2023 Teacher of the Year at Tuloso-Midway High School and extend |
