| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has distinguished himself in |

| 6 | 6 | | his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Representative Joe Moody during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | tasks such as conducting bill analysis, managing correspondence |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | with constituents, and meeting with advocacy groups; in addition to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has previously completed |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | internships with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Travis County District Attorney's Office, and the offices of State |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Senator Royce West and State Representative Victoria Neave Criado; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | he is a government major at The University of Texas at Austin, where |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | he has served as a member of the UT Senate; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has performed his duties as a |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 24 | 24 | | be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby commend Justin Vargas Gonzales for his service |

| 28 | 28 | | Moody and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in |
