44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has distinguished himself in
66 his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
77 Representative Joe Moody during the 88th Legislative Session; and
88 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has
99 provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging
1010 tasks such as conducting bill analysis, managing correspondence
1111 with constituents, and meeting with advocacy groups; in addition to
1212 gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, he has
1313 learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing
1414 citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1515 WHEREAS, Mr. Vargas Gonzales has previously completed
1616 internships with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, the
1717 Travis County District Attorney's Office, and the offices of State
1818 Senator Royce West and State Representative Victoria Neave Criado;
1919 he is a government major at The University of Texas at Austin, where
2020 he has served as a member of the UT Senate; and
2121 WHEREAS, Justin Vargas Gonzales has performed his duties as a
2222 legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
2323 deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
2424 be it
2525 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2626 Legislature hereby commend Justin Vargas Gonzales for his service
2727 as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Joe
2828 Moody and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in
2929 all his endeavors; and, be it further
3030 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3131 prepared for Mr. Vargas Gonzales as an expression of high regard by
3232 the Texas House of Representatives.
