5	5	WHEREAS, Summerlyn Nasser has distinguished herself in her
6	6	responsibilities as director of communications in the office of
7	7	State Representative Josey Garcia during the 88th Legislature; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Ms. Nasser's resourcefulness and initiative have
9	9	earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to
10	10	carrying forth Representative Garcia's legislative agenda have
11	11	helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;
12	12	and
13	13	WHEREAS, Since joining the staff as a participant in the
14	14	Texas Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Nasser has assisted with
15	15	more than 200 pieces of legislation, and she has played an
16	16	instrumental role in fostering a positive team environment; and
17	17	WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
18	18	duties as director of communications with skill and dedication, and
19	19	she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work;
20	20	now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
22	22	Legislature hereby commend Summerlyn Nasser for her service as
23	23	director of communications in the office of State Representative
24	24	Josey Garcia and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
25	25	success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for Ms. Nasser as an expression of high regard by the Texas
28	28	House of Representatives.
