H.R. No. 2446
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jonathan Saldana has distinguished himself in his
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
Representative Rafael Anchía during the 88th Legislative Session;
and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Saldana has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Saldana attends The University of Texas at
Austin, where he is a College of Natural Sciences Scholar and a
member of the Health Science Scholars honors program; he previously
served as a research assistant for Project SEED, and he has taken
part in a research initiative that involves DNA tracing; in
addition, he has given generously of his time and talents to Feed My
Starving Children, Texas Project Sunshine, Texas Dollar For, and
the Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin volunteer program; and
WHEREAS, Jonathan Saldana has performed his duties as a
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Jonathan Saldana for his service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Rafael
Anchía and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Saldana as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
