| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jonathan Saldana has distinguished himself in his |

| 7 | 7 | | Representative Rafael Anchía during the 88th Legislative Session; |

|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Saldana has provided |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Saldana attends The University of Texas at |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Austin, where he is a College of Natural Sciences Scholar and a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | member of the Health Science Scholars honors program; he previously |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | served as a research assistant for Project SEED, and he has taken |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | part in a research initiative that involves DNA tracing; in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | addition, he has given generously of his time and talents to Feed My |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Starving Children, Texas Project Sunshine, Texas Dollar For, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin volunteer program; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Jonathan Saldana has performed his duties as a |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby commend Jonathan Saldana for his service as a |
