| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Julio Mena Bernal has distinguished himself in his |

| 7 | 7 | | Representative Josey Garcia during the 88th Legislative Session; |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Mena Bernal has |

| 10 | 10 | | provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |

| 11 | 11 | | tasks, and he was involved in the preparation of more than 200 |

| 12 | 12 | | pieces of legislation; moreover, he demonstrated a steadfast |

| 13 | 13 | | commitment to addressing the concerns of constituents and fostered |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | a positive atmosphere as a team player on the staff; and |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, In addition to gaining valuable experience in the |

| 16 | 16 | | field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |

| 17 | 17 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Julio Mena Bernal has performed his duties as a |

| 19 | 19 | | policy analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |

| 20 | 20 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
