| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, State Representative Terry Wilson has benefited |

| 6 | 6 | | immeasurably from the outstanding work of his office's interns |

| 7 | 7 | | throughout the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A native of Dallas, Beck Wagoner attends Austin |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Community College; he serves as a camp counselor during the summer |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | at Camp Longhorn Indian Springs and is a member of the Sigma Alpha |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Epsilon fraternity; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Cayden Cherne is a recent graduate of Georgetown |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | High School, where she was captain of the varsity swim team and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | graduated in the top 10 percent of her class; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Waco High School, David "Dax" Roberson |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | III is an economics major at The University of Texas at Austin and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | is involved with the Kappa Alpha fraternity and the University |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Finance Association; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Throughout the legislative session, Kristine Meyer |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | has distinguished herself with her commitment to community |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | involvement and public service; an exceptional student as well, she |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | has demonstrated a strong interest in medicine and law and is active |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | in numerous research projects and organizations on her campus; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, During his internship, Lucas Pope excelled at |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | analyzing legislation; a graduate of Lamar High School in Houston, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | he is in the Plan II Honors program at UT Austin and a member of the |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Markham Dossett attends Austin Community College |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | and plans to transfer to UT Austin to study economics; he has also |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | gained valuable experience working on his family's ranch near |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Crawford; and |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Wesley Gafford recently earned a bachelor's degree |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | in political science from St. Edward's University, where he has |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | been a starting pitcher on the school's baseball team; and |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | WHEREAS, These esteemed public servants have all performed |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | their duties with skill and dedication, and they are indeed |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | deserving of special recognition for their fine work; now, |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | therefore, be it |

| 39 | 39 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | Legislature hereby commend the interns in the office of State |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | Representative Terry Wilson for their exemplary service and extend |

| 42 | 42 | | to them sincere best wishes for continued success in all their |
