R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Alfred's Catering was named the Big Boy Hester Small
Business of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards
banquet on February 15, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes local
enterprises and business and civic leaders for their outstanding
contributions to the Round Rock community and the chamber; and
WHEREAS, Owned by Alfred Engstrand, this year's Big Boy
Hester Small Business of the Year is a full-service catering
company that provides food for a wide range of local events,
including festivals, corporate events, and chamber functions, and
it has given back to the community in myriad ways; and
WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the
needs of area residents, and this notable accolade is a fitting
recognition of the valued service that Alfred's Catering provides
to the Round Rock community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Alfred's Catering on its selection
as the 2023 Big Boy Hester Small Business of the Year by the Round
Rock Chamber and extend to the company sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Alfred's Catering as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
