H.R. No. 2514
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tammy Young received the Investor of the Year award
from the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards banquet on February
15, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes an
individual who has distinguished himself or herself as a strong
advocate for the chamber and who has contributed greatly to the
organization's success through involvement in its programs,
councils, and events; and
WHEREAS, Employed with Central Texas Refuse, Ms. Young has
given generously of her time, talents, and resources to support the
Round Rock Chamber and its various programs, as well as to benefit
the local business community; she is an engaged member of the
chamber's board of directors and chairs the organization's Business
Climate Council; moreover, she assists chamber staff in their
efforts to shape public policy, and she tirelessly advocates for
the Round Rock community throughout Central Texas; and
WHEREAS, Tammy Young has demonstrated a lasting commitment to
making Round Rock a better place for all, and in so doing, she has
earned the deep respect and appreciation of her fellow residents;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Tammy Young on her receipt of the
Investor of the Year award from the Round Rock Chamber and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Young as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
