| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Tammy Young received the Investor of the Year award |

| 6 | 6 | | from the Round Rock Chamber at its annual awards banquet on February |

| 7 | 7 | | 15, 2023; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber recognizes an |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | individual who has distinguished himself or herself as a strong |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | advocate for the chamber and who has contributed greatly to the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | organization's success through involvement in its programs, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | councils, and events; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Employed with Central Texas Refuse, Ms. Young has |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | given generously of her time, talents, and resources to support the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Round Rock Chamber and its various programs, as well as to benefit |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the local business community; she is an engaged member of the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | chamber's board of directors and chairs the organization's Business |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Climate Council; moreover, she assists chamber staff in their |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | efforts to shape public policy, and she tirelessly advocates for |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | the Round Rock community throughout Central Texas; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Tammy Young has demonstrated a lasting commitment to |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | making Round Rock a better place for all, and in so doing, she has |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | earned the deep respect and appreciation of her fellow residents; |

| 24 | 24 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Tammy Young on her receipt of the |

| 27 | 27 | | Investor of the Year award from the Round Rock Chamber and extend to |

| 28 | 28 | | her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
