R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has been selected as
the 2023 Business of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce;
and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce
recognizes a local business for its involvement in the community as
well as its contributions to the chamber; to qualify for the award,
the business must have at least 21 employees; and
WHEREAS, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has generously
donated to a number of local organizations and projects such as the
Round Rock Cares disaster relief fund, which played a critical role
in the city's recovery following the March 2022 tornado; in
addition, the business has been a dedicated supporter of the Round
Rock Chamber of Commerce, and it actively participates in the
chamber's Momentum economic development program; and
WHEREAS, Through its exceptional contributions, Kalahari
Resorts & Conventions has furthered Round Rock's reputation as a
great place to live and work, and it is indeed deserving of this
notable honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kalahari Resorts & Conventions on
being named the 2023 Business of the Year by the Round Rock Chamber
of Commerce and extend to its owners and employees sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Kalahari Resorts & Conventions as an expression of
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
