44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Emily Espinoza has been named valedictorian of the
66 Class of 2023 at W. W. Samuell High School in Dallas, and she indeed
77 merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor;
88 and
99 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
1010 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1111 highest academic standards; in securing her place as the
1212 top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Espinoza demonstrated a
1313 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her
1414 attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
1515 of a notable high school career; and
1616 WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
1717 recognized for her hard work, Ms. Espinoza gained the opportunity
1818 to address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on
1919 their shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and
2020 WHEREAS, During her years at W. W. Samuell High School, Emily
2121 Espinoza earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and
2222 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
2323 to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
2424 for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2525 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2626 Legislature hereby congratulate Emily Espinoza on graduating as
2727 valedictorian of the W. W. Samuell High School Class of 2023 and
2828 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
2929 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
3030 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3131 prepared for Ms. Espinoza as an expression of high regard by the
3232 Texas House of Representatives.
