| 11 | 11 | | Section 3, and Texas East titles; Pearland then turned in a |

| 12 | 12 | | triumphant performance at the Southwest Region Championship in |

| 13 | 13 | | Waco; in the finals, the squad defeated Oklahoma 9-4 to claim a |

| 14 | 14 | | berth in the Little League World Series for the fourth time in the |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, In their opening world series contest on August 18, |

| 20 | 20 | | shut out Davenport, Iowa, 4-0 to keep its hopes alive; in a rematch |

| 21 | 21 | | with Hollidaysburg in their next game, the Texas players blasted |
