| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Christopher C. Doyle of Texas City is being |

| 6 | 6 | | recognized as the Golden Eagle Honoree at the Galveston Friends of |

| 7 | 7 | | Scouting Distinguished Citizen Breakfast on March 9, 2023, in |

| 8 | 8 | | Galveston; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Chris |

| 10 | 10 | | Doyle is an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | America Bay Area Council; furthermore, he has given of his time and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | talents as chair of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and as a |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | member of the board for the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Commerce; he is a valued congregant of St. Mary of the Miraculous |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Medal Catholic Church of Texas City; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The president and CEO of Texas First Bank, Mr. Doyle |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | also serves as president of Texas Independent Bancshares, and he |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | recently completed a six-year term on the Federal Reserve Bank of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Dallas Board of Directors; moreover, he holds leadership roles with |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | CBANC and Independent Community Bankers of America; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Doyle has received numerous accolades over the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | years, including induction into the Texas City Independent School |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | District Foundation for the Future Legacy Hall of Honor and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | selection as the Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal; |

| 25 | 25 | | he holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Tech University; |

| 26 | 26 | | in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, |

| 27 | 27 | | Stephanie, and he takes great pride in their four sons, |

| 28 | 28 | | Christopher, Charles, Corbin, and Cullen, who have all attained the |

| 29 | 29 | | rank of Eagle Scout; and |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Chris Doyle has proven himself a business and civic |

| 31 | 31 | | leader of great vision and ability, and he is indeed deserving of |
