| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The service of an admired Medina County elected |

| 6 | 6 | | official drew to a close when Jerry Beck retired as county |

| 7 | 7 | | commissioner; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Beck served his |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | responsibilities of his office; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | good governance, Jerry Beck has helped make Medina County an even |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |

| 15 | 15 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 16 | 16 | | Legislature hereby commend Jerry Beck for his service as a Medina |

| 17 | 17 | | County commissioner and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |

| 18 | 18 | | future; and, be it further |
