| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The service of an admired Pecos County official drew |

| 6 | 6 | | to a close when Cliff Harris retired as sheriff on December 31, |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Harris served his |

| 9 | 9 | | fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | responsibilities of his office; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | governance, Cliff Harris has helped make Pecos County an even |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 16 | 16 | | Legislature hereby commend Cliff Harris for his service as Pecos |

| 17 | 17 | | County sheriff and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
