| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The service of an admired Kimble County official |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | drew to a close when Haydee Torres retired as district clerk in |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | December 2022; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Torres served as deputy clerk from 1993 to 2003, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | and she subsequently worked as district clerk until her retirement; |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | over the course of her tenure, she served her fellow citizens with |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | distinction, ably meeting the myriad responsibilities of her |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | office; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | good governance, Haydee Torres has helped make Kimble County an |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | even better place in which to live and work, and she has set a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, |

| 17 | 17 | | be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby commend Haydee Torres for her service as Kimble |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | County district clerk and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | future; and, be it further |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |

| 23 | 23 | | prepared for Ms. Torres as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
