| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The service of an admired Kimble County official |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | drew to a close when Delbert Roberts retired as county judge in |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | December 2022; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Judge Roberts first served as county judge from 1995 |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | to 2008, and he again took on the role of county judge in October |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 2013; over the course of his tenure, he served his fellow citizens |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | with distinction, ably meeting the myriad responsibilities of his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | office; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | good governance, Delbert Roberts has helped make Kimble County an |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | even better place in which to live and work, and he has set a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby commend Delbert Roberts for his service as |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Kimble County judge and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | future; and, be it further |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | prepared for Judge Roberts as an expression of high regard by the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Texas House of Representatives. |
