H.R. No. 399
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Schleicher County official
drew to a close when Johnny Mayo retired as county commissioner on
December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Mayo served his
fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad
responsibilities of his office; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good
governance, Johnny Mayo has helped make Schleicher County an even
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Johnny Mayo for his service as a
Schleicher County commissioner and extend to him sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Mayo as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
