5	5	WHEREAS, The City of Navasota is hosting its 11th annual
6	6	Texas Birthday Bash on March 3 and 4, 2023; and
7	7	WHEREAS, Each year the city holds a celebration to
8	8	commemorate the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on
9	9	March 2, 1836, when residents officially proclaimed their
10	10	independence from Mexico and established a free and independent
11	11	Republic of Texas; and
12	12	WHEREAS, The Texas Birthday Bash attracts thousands of
13	13	visitors from across the state, as well as from many other parts of
14	14	the country; this much-anticipated event features a two-day music
15	15	festival with an exciting lineup of Texas artists, and guests can
16	16	also enjoy a variety of family-friendly offerings, such as a
17	17	petting zoo, mechanical bull riding, food and craft vendors, and
18	18	gunfight performances; and
19	19	WHEREAS, A fun occasion for all ages, the Texas Birthday Bash
20	20	is a fitting celebration of the anniversary of that important day in
21	21	the history of the Lone Star State, and it promises to be a source of
22	22	fond memories for everyone in attendance; now, therefore, be it
23	23	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
24	24	Legislature hereby commemorate the 11th annual Texas Birthday Bash
25	25	in Navasota and extend to the organizers and guests sincere best
26	26	wishes for an enjoyable event.
