| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Adelaido O. Salinas is retiring from the Internal |

| 6 | 6 | | Revenue Service of the United States Department of the Treasury on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | March 31, 2023; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, First hired by the IRS in 1985, Mr. Salinas has |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | carried out his duties with distinction for nearly 38 years; prior |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | to joining the agency, he served in the United States Navy for more |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | than a decade, and he continued his service as a member of the Naval |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Reserve for over 14 years until his retirement in 1997; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Salinas is a graduate of Pan American |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | University, and he completed his education at The University of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Texas-Pan American, where he earned a master's degree in business |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | administration; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | support of a fine family that includes his wife, Miranda, and his |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | daughter, Melissa; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, With his professionalism, dedication, and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | commitment to excellence, Adelaido Salinas has earned the respect |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and admiration of his colleagues, and he may indeed reflect with |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | pride on his exemplary record of service as he begins the next |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Adelaido O. Salinas on his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | retirement from the Internal Revenue Service and extend to him |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
