| 9 | 9 | | the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and the Central Fort Bend Chamber; |

| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce works with its |

| 12 | 12 | | more than 1,200 member companies and organizations to advocate for |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | business excellence while promoting tourism and the well-being of |

| 14 | 14 | | the community; the group is one of only 133 chambers of commerce in |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the United States to receive a 5-star accreditation from the U.S. |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Chamber of Commerce; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The Central Fort Bend Chamber endeavors to develop |

| 18 | 18 | | programs that bring about economic growth and employment |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | opportunities, as well as an overall improvement in the quality of |

| 20 | 20 | | life for area residents; the alliance promotes local businesses and |
|---|
