| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Temple Community Clinic celebrated the 30th |

| 6 | 6 | | anniversary of its founding at its annual Caring Ball on February |

| 7 | 7 | | 11, 2023; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1992 through a collaboration between |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Leadership Temple and local physicians and community leaders, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Temple Community Clinic seeks to expand access to quality health |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | care for uninsured and underinsured residents of Bell County; the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | clinic offers a wide range of services in areas such as cardiology, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | gynecology, and dentistry, and works to ensure the overall |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | well-being of its patients through wellness education and mental |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | health care; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Last year, the clinic served more than 1,500 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | patients at over 4,500 appointments, greatly reducing hospital and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | emergency room visits; to better meet the medical needs of area |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | residents, the organization is in the process of building a new, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | larger facility; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Over the past three decades, Temple Community Clinic |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | has made vital contributions to the health and welfare of countless |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Bell County citizens, and it is indeed deserving of recognition on |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | the occasion of this significant milestone in its history; now, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby commend Temple Community Clinic for 30 years of |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | service to the community and extend to all those associated with the |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | organization sincere best wishes for continued success with their |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | important work; and, be it further |
