| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Soner Tarim and his staff at Royal Public |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A tuition-free college-preparatory public charter |

| 9 | 9 | | school, Royal Public Schools offers a kindergarten through 12th |

| 10 | 10 | | grade education and focuses on supporting all students, regardless |

| 11 | 11 | | of their race, gender, ethnic origin, socioeconomic level, or |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The founder and CEO of Royal Public Schools, |

| 14 | 14 | | Dr. Tarim has developed a unique public school model, combining an |

| 15 | 15 | | innovative STEM program with fine arts, reading and writing, and |

| 16 | 16 | | social-emotional learning to foster a holistic approach to |

| 17 | 17 | | education; under his able leadership, the school's dedicated |

| 18 | 18 | | teachers provide an academically rigorous college and career |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | preparatory program; moreover, the school offers a multitude of |

| 20 | 20 | | extracurricular opportunities, including robotics, choir, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | foreign language, as well as a number of athletic programs such as |

| 22 | 22 | | soccer, basketball, and volleyball; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Royal Public Schools is providing its students with |

| 24 | 24 | | a strong academic foundation on which to build, and it has made a |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | lasting and positive impact in the San Antonio community; now, |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
