| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Clark Hunt of Dallas and the other members of the |

| 6 | 6 | | Hunt family are celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs' victory in |

| 7 | 7 | | Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023, the latest championship |

| 8 | 8 | | triumph by the team that the family has owned since 1960; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Chiefs made a thrilling comeback to triumph |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 38-35 over the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2023 NFL title game; the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | win earned Kansas City its second Vince Lombardi Trophy in the past |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | four years, following a victory in the 2020 Super Bowl, and the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Chiefs also won Super Bowl IV in 1970; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The team was originally established by Lamar Hunt, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Clark's father, as the Dallas Texans, and the franchise moved to |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Kansas City in 1963; Clark Hunt took charge of the Chiefs |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | organization in 2005, the year before his father passed away; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | today, he oversees the team in his position as chairman and CEO of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the Dallas-based Hunt Sports Group, which is also involved with |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | several other professional franchises; he has been instrumental in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the Chiefs' recent success, hiring head coach Andy Reid in 2013 and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | helping to build a championship-caliber staff; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, The other members of the family who hold an |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | ownership stake in the team are Clark's siblings, Dan Hunt, Sharron |

| 25 | 25 | | Hunt, and Lamar Hunt Jr., as well as their mother, Norma Hunt; since |

| 26 | 26 | | the inaugural 1967 Super Bowl in which the Chiefs met the Green Bay |

| 27 | 27 | | Packers, Norma has regularly attended the title game showcases; and |

| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, For over six decades, the Hunt family has played a |

| 29 | 29 | | prominent and influential role in the world of professional sports, |

| 30 | 30 | | and its members may indeed reflect with pride on this latest |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | championship achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
