| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Matt Sapp of the Frisco Fire Department has been |

| 6 | 7 | | named the 2022 Frisco Firefighter of the Year; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Frisco Fire Department annually |

| 8 | 9 | | vote to honor one of their colleagues with the Firefighter of the |

| 9 | 10 | | Year award; Mr. Sapp is especially admired by his peers for his |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | leadership, integrity, and reliability; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Sapp joined the Frisco Fire Department in June |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | 2016, and he currently serves on the Special Operations Team, which |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | responds to situations requiring heavy rescue, high angle rescue, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | confined space rescue, hazmat, or paramedic services; he is also a |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | member of Texas A&M Task Force 1, and he has further distinguished |

| 16 | 17 | | himself as president of the Frisco Firefighters Association; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Through his hard work and dedication to duty, Matt |

| 18 | 19 | | Sapp has exemplified the highest ideals of his profession, and he |

| 19 | 20 | | may indeed reflect with pride on this well-deserved recognition; |
