| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A provider-driven organization, Vizient serves more |

| 9 | 9 | | than half of the health care organizations in the country, helping |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | to strengthen their delivery of high-value care; its prestigious |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Birnbaum Award acknowledges member health systems that demonstrate |

| 12 | 12 | | superior performance, as measured by the Vizient Quality and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Accountability Study, which evaluates care across six domains: |

| 14 | 14 | | mortality, efficiency, effectiveness, patient centeredness, |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Vizient recognized six Houston Methodist health |

| 32 | 32 | | ongoing commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it |
