| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso of |

| 6 | 6 | | Corpus Christi were deeply saddened by her passing on October 16, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 2022, at the age of 55; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The former Matilda Aleman was born on December 29, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1966, to Daniel Aleman Sr. and Guadalupe Salazar Aleman; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, In 1989, she married Reynaldo Jasso, and the couple |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | went on to share a fulfilling union that spanned more than 33 years; |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | she took great pride in her two sons, Reynaldo and Manuel; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her marriage, Mrs. Jasso dedicated |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | herself to her family and her home, and she could often be found |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | volunteering at her children's schools and supporting them in their |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | extracurricular activities; in her leisure time, she enjoyed |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | crafting and decorating her home for the holidays; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Although Matilda Jasso is deeply missed, memories of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | her kindness and joyful laughter remain to comfort and inspire |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | those she leaves behind, and they will forever hold her close in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Matilda Aleman Jasso |

| 24 | 24 | | and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |

| 25 | 25 | | husband, Reynaldo Jasso Sr.; to her sons, Reynaldo Jasso Jr. and |

| 26 | 26 | | Manuel Jesus Jasso; to her siblings, Thelma Lopez and her husband, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Louis, Lesbia Aleman, Senona Fernandez, and Daniel Aleman Jr. and |

| 28 | 28 | | his wife, Anna; to her aunt, Daria Altamirano; to her godson, |
